big belly and a clean baby

I said I wasn't going to do this, but I feel like I might regret it later if I don't. So I had Francie take a picture of my belly to see what 20 weeks looks like the second time around. After she took the pictures, I didn't think think they were too bad, I mean after all I am 5 months pregnant, and I think I am about the same as far as weight gain compared to last time. Then I found my 20 week pictures from my pregnancy with Anthony and WOW what a difference.
So here I am in my first pregnancy at 20 weeks. I'm practically sticking my stomach out to make myself look pregnant.
And here I am this time around. See what I mean?
The front view isn't as bad, so I just have to try to avoid letting people look at me from the side view.
And here are some cute pictures of Tony I took tonight after his bath.
He loves the bath so much, I probably let him stay in a little too long. Look at his little feet, they are all water-logged.
Here he is all clean smelling. Don't you just love the smell of a clean baby?

And here he is all ready for bed. He would probably argue that statement if only he could talk. Our bedtime ritual is getting to be a bit difficult lately. He wants to stay up til 9 every night and I'm sorry but he needs to go to bed earlier or he and I both get grumpy. (cause I need some me time in the evenings)
In case anyone is wondering, my 2 days out of town wasn't a vacation it was work related. But I still managed to get some good sleep and do some shopping and dining without a baby in tow, which was really nice. Tony didn't seem to miss either Todd or me, he really is quite content with his Grandma. In fact he did so well I decided Todd and I should go to Chicago for a couple days for our anniversary coming up soon and leave him home with Grandma and Grandpa.

I'm glad you posted those photos... you just look so cute! We should have put the living room light on, though.
I also love those pictures of Tony! Especially, his ruffled up hair in that last pic! Nice job!

You look Great!! Bath time was my favorite when my kids were Tony's age; a clean baby snuggled in pj's is the best! Now, the kids are on their own and they tend to waste too much water and take too long; so not the same calm bath time that I used to enjoy.

When Kristen was a baby she had a bath EVERY night, without fail. I couldn't believe that some people would skip a day! Now, it's more like, hmmm...when did you have a bath last? Maybe we should do that today...

I'm glad Tony likes his pjs!

And, your tummy does look cute. But, very pregnant!

I also did bath time every night without fail. I agree that a freshly washed baby smells great.

You look fantastic for 5 months!

I agree that you and Todd should get away for a few days without Tony for your anniversary.

Your belly is cute! Not really that big, but bigger than the first which is to be expected.

I hope you guys get the chance to get away for your anniversary. Take advantage of Grandma and Grandpa.

he looks like a baby still in those pictures. You look just pregnant enough that people might wonder if you're pregnant, or if your just belly heavy... That's the worst stage I'm sure! Can't wait to see Tony, will you be around this weekend?

ps... his feet are sooo wrinkly! How long did you leave him in there? I love baths, but i cant remember the last time I stayed in long enough to have wrinkly skin.

I haven't been to your blog in a while, just catching up now...Tony is getting bigger for sure! He's still as cute as ever. I bet it will be interesting to compare this pregnancy to when you had him.

Sorry to have been gone so long - I can't believe you look so great! I know sooo many girls that look like that at 3 and 4 months with the second!

I love how blond Tony is getting, and he's getting so big!

I think its neat to see a pregnant belly. Yea, I guess the second time around the skin stretches out a lot easier. You do look great, when I had my older daughter I remember being a lot bigger at 5 months. Maybe it was all those Dove bars I was eating !
