Well, Anya went home, back to Ukraine yesterday.  It was a very sad day, sadder than I ever expected. Before I went to bed last night I was online tracking her flight, and then first thing this morning I got back on to see that she landed safely.  It was 18 hours of flying with a layover in Amsterdam. She landed in Kiev, Ukraine about 5am Michigan time.  She is now on a 10-12 hour bus ride to

UPDATE: Grandma is not allowed to go on a pass, they say it could interfere with insurance reimbursement. She had the surgery yesterday and the doctor said there was a little more swelling and bruising of the brain than he expected, and her recovery in the hospital is expected to be a couple weeks followed by Rehab. My Grandma Annie is in the hospital right now, she had a car accident yesterday and now has a subdural hematoma which is causing pressure in her brain. Thankfully she is still neurologically intact, but that could change at any time. The neurosurgeon is recommending surgery to evacuate the blood, but my grandma is scared and doesn't want the surgery. She wants to take the wait and see approach

Just a quick update. We did finally take Tony into the ocean and he LOVES it. Tries to drink the water. We even took him on the big water trampoline this am at Margaritaville next door. He thought that was pretty fun. Although it was quite tricky getting him off that big thing when we were ready to go back, we didn't really think that one through very well. We arrived safely yesterday in Jamaica. The flight was uneventful despite the fact that Anthony has an ear infection and only got about 4 hours sleep the night before. We were expecting the worst, but Anthony was perfect. There was only about 25 people on the plane, so we were able to move around and be comfortable.The weather here is great and the set up is great being so close to the beach.

I woke up early this morning to get to the store and get the last minute things I needed for the big party today. I'm out of town in about 5 minutes for 2 days, Todd is also out of town on a fishing trip. It will be the first time Tony is away from both his mom and dad for a whole day. I know he will be in good hands at grandma's and will probably not even notice we're gone, but I'm going to miss my sweet little boy. I'm trying to update my blog layout, the sidebar is outdated, obviously I'm not running anymore, so I see no need to keep track of my lack of running. Halloween got bumped this year for Friday night high school football games. So around here tonight was Halloween. After the cold and ever so slightly snowy weekend we just had, we were all very happy with our 62 degree weather.
